The fishy smell actually comes naturally from the konjac root. If your konjac product smells fishy when you open the packet, don’t be alarmed! It’s a sign of its authenticity and quality.
There are some simple ways to remove the fishy smell:
Give your konjac rice or noodles a good rinse with cold water, and you’re good to go!
You can add a few drops of vinegar to the rinse, which can effectively eliminate the fishy smell.
Our high-quality, organic products are infused with a small amount of oat fiber to give them a better texture and color in comparison to other products on the market. Also, Well Lean products do not have the "fishy odor" that other Shirataki products have!
Glucomannan from the Konjac is generally well-tolerated. However, if you do not drink more water after having Konjac or consume it too much, it may cause digestive problems such as:
Bloating
Diarrhea or loose stools
Abdominal pain
Gas
Nausea

Unopened packages can be stored at room temperature in a pantry or cupboard, or in the refrigerator. Beware that extremely cold weather may cause Well Lean Packages to burst and become inedible. So, freezer is not a suitable place for them.

If your area is expecting extreme cold weather with temperatures that are below freezing please postpone your order until warmer weather arrives.

Konjac is a plant that only grows in a very specific area in China, so our ingredients are sourced sustainably from that area. Well Lean is, however, a fully American company based in Henderson, Nevada.

**Please know that once your order is fulfilled, it takes around 1-2 business days for the tracking number to appear next to each of your line items. Once the tracking number is generated, it takes a day or two for it to update its status.

Step 2: If an order shows up in our system as delivered but you did not receive your package, please notify your local police and the carrier to file a stolen package report.
Step 3: Once a report has been filed, please submit it to contact@welllean.com along with your order number to receive a replacement order.
